SMAN Screening Team

 

The purpose of the SMAN Screening team is to adequately prepare early-stage companies to meet with SMAN's Angel Investors.  The team will consist of five individuals diverse in professional expertise.

 

 

 

By examining Venture Capital Tools results and meeting the early-stage company, the SMAN Screening team will evaluate business proposal based on the following criteria:
    1. Execution risk
    2. Product risk
    3. Market risk
    4. Management risk
    5. Financial risk

 

During the meeting with the entrepreneur, the SMAN team will:
    1. Thoroughly evaluate a the business proposal using Venture Capital Tools and AngelSoft software
    2. Identify opportunities for improvement that need to be addressed prior to meeting with the Angel Investors
    3. Assign a business mentor to answer questions and coach the early-stage company's preparation
    4. Provide suggestions for additional community resources.

 

Upon receiving final approval from each of the Screening team members, the entrepreneur will be scheduled to meet with the Angel Investors and present their business proposal.
