SMG's Innovative Workforce Solution

Service Management Group (SMG) ran into a common issue: finding the right employees for the right job. Ross Arroyo, president of SMG, found a regional solution. He worked with a regional community college to develop bootcamp taught by seasoned SMG staff. Students in the SMG bootcamp receive course credit and training in the skills SMG needs in future employees.

It's a win on multiple levels. Students who successfuly complete the bootcamp have the opportunity to work for SMG, and SMG has the opportunity to hire the best employees.

"Results have been phenomenal," said Arroyo. "We have students who've been programming for less than a year who can perform on a level of those who have 4-5 years of experience."
